Kenai Peninsula Stats
The Kenai Peninsula real estate market has been fairly active. 2005 & 2006 were our two busiest years and then things slowed down in April of 2007. On the negative side the number of solds declined in 2007 & 2008 and we have seen a slow down in Kenai River & Cook Inlet bluff property. On the positve side the Days on the Market are going down and the Average/Median price of a home is going up.
With the current low interest rates I am expecting the number of solds in 2009 to increase and the Average/Median price continue to go up.
Most of these statistics come from the Mulitple Listing Service and cover the Central Peninsula area only. Give me a call or email if you would like to discuss these statistics or have me provide others.
